I have really enjoyed our sessions and have found incredible value in them. I see our coaching sessions as the rudder, guiding me in the direction I want to go and keeping me focused (not drifting). I’ve found so much value in the entire coaching experience, that I’m exploring becoming a coach myself!….”

My experience with Elizabeth has been everything I had hoped for. She has helped me go from hoping that I will reach my dreams to knowing I will reach my dreams. I had for years been scattering my energy and efforts in every possible direction, hoping that that by sheer luck I would bring my dreams to reality. Elizabeth is helping me learn to focus my entire life and being in the direction of my dreams.

My goal was to move to France, and then live and work there. My original goal was 2006. Thanks to the coaching I received, I was able to compete my goal 8 months before my target (and maybe more, as I hadn’t decided when in 2006 I was planning to move!), and leave in April 2005.
Elizabeth had a wide variety of resources at her fingertips, and stressed developing “the whole person” as well as creating a specific agenda of actionable steps for me to take, in order to break down my goal into very specific, digestible parts. She also gave me ideas I wouldn’t have thought otherwise: such as researching health insurance options and options for living and working in my target country.
As a coach, Elizabeth was thorough in both making the most of our time together, and in her follow-ups after our calls. She is also a “real person” who cares deeply about what she does, and takes great pride in what I believe must be her life calling. I would recommend Elizabeth as a coach to anyone: in fact, I already have!

You have truly been a coach for me (via email), and you have certainly been an important “champion” of my cause. I tremendously value your straight-to-the-heart -of -the -matter questions. (“So, what’s stopping you from buying a plane ticket?” was my personal favorite!) I think because you had the personal experience doing just what I wanted to do, you were able to ask the right questions, to play devil’s advocate a bit, to dispel some of my (perhaps irrational) fears while owning up to and helping me figure how to get around REAL obstacles. In a practical sense, you got me started networking in Europe through your own contacts while giving me great ideas on how to continue building my network. Like your book, you have been a resource, a reality check (often of my OWN readiness/attitude/progress—how could I tell how I was doing?) and a well of encouragement and positive energy. You have been incredibly generous, and I get the distinct feeling that you will feel as though you have succeeded when I have succeeded! (and you’ll be right..)”

After 4 months of coaching, I have already noticed great changes and progress in how I live my life! As a fellow expat, I feel you truly understand the problems and challenges that I face. You have encouraged me to set goals (both long and short term), decrease the clutter in my life, and have inspired me to get more organized. You also have helped me become more focused, set priorities for myself and break down large projects into smaller, more doable tasks. Through our coaching sessions and your many insightful questions, I have also learned a great deal about myself. You have made me more aware of what energizes me and makes me happy, and I feel closer to live out my dream.
You are also a terrific motivator! Our conversations make me feel better about myself and increase my self-confidence. You always go above and beyond the call of duty – always being available, cheering me on, and sending me thoughtful emails to encourage my progress and keep me going. It’s as if you are always thinking of me!”
